WORK IN PROGRESS

It's getting there. Slowly but surely!! I'm pretty happy with it so far. I am ready to be done with it though because I'm really excited about getting another picture started.

Work in Progress

I have been working on this drawing of a beautiful Indian girl I had the pleasure of photographing during a dance demonstration in Tubac, AZ. I had been talking about doing this for a good solid year, and I finally got started.

It seems like I have been working on this for an eternity, but It has been a really tough couple of months for me. I decided to put a work in progress on my blog because it has been so long since I have added anything and I am determined to get this going.

I will photograph it again as I go and maybe my next drawing I will do more as a demonstration. Mainly because I love to see other peoples demonstrations. I find it so fascinating to see how other people work and I always seem to learn something. It would give me great pleasure to know I was an inspiration to someone else.

I have really been getting into pencil lately. I feel as though people don't really view it as fine art though. Maybe I will say to hell with what everyone thinks and do what makes me happy- right now that would be my pencils!!
